FAQ for trips
No, we are open for special events and 2nd Saturday open hikes. All other times are by reservation for field trips, private events and special events during the year. Premium members can visit at their leisure. Hours for open hikes are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with the last hike at 4:00pm. All other hours are daylight until dark unless approved by Preserve staff.

We rent the Nature Center for large outings; weddings, parties, corporate or other organizations or groups. Other areas of the Preserve can be reserved. Contact the Director for more information. Each reservation cost is based on size of gathering, time, or other special request. A proposal based on your request will be provided.
During open hikes you may bring your dog, but it must be on a leash and pick up after your dog. Be aware that other visitors could be on the trail, so no aggressive or barking dogs allowed.
We suggest the individual membership of $100.00 annually. This level allows you to visit the Preserve to hike at your leisure. No other guests allowed at this level. Annual Family membership $250.00 and allows you and your family to hike, picnic and fish at your leisure. Small business and corporate memberships are available. We only allow organized groups to camp at the Preserve. Each request must be approved by Preserve staff. Costs vary based on group requirements. Please contact Director for more details.
You must be a premium member to fish or during some special events. We allow canoe, kayak, or small boat with electric trolling motor. Observe all regulations and safety requirements.
We are a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. We depend on your tax-deductible donations to continue our mission. Major donations or annual giving opportunities are also available. Please contact the Director for further information.
